This policy explains what data we collect on akademiacopytrading.pl, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. Cookies and measurement tools are covered by a separate cookie policy.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Przemek Cacko, Belgia, Osoba fizyczna (“Akademia”, “we”).

For anything related to your personal data, email cackowski.przemyslaw.pro@gmail.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

2. What data we use, why and on what legal basis

Booking a free consultation

When you book a consultation we process your first name, phone number, email address (if you give it), experience level, the consultant you chose and the time and language of the call. We use this to arrange and hold the consultation and to contact you about it, for example by phone, text message or WhatsApp to send a link or move the call. The legal basis is the contract for a free consultation, entered into at your request under our terms of use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Together with the booking we save the page it was sent from and how you reached the site: campaign parameters (UTM) and ad click identifiers (fbclid, gclid) if they were in the address. This helps us understand which channels and ads bring interest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Giving your first name and phone number is voluntary, but we cannot book the call without them. Your email address is optional: if you give it, you will receive an invitation with the meeting link.

Correspondence

When you write to us by email or messenger, we process the data in your message (such as your name, email address, phone number and the message itself) to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where your question concerns a consultation, the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

WhatsApp learning group

The “WhatsApp group” button leads to a group on WhatsApp. The service is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own terms and as a separate controller. When you join, we as group admins and the other members can see your phone number, profile name and photo, and the messages you post. We process this data to run the group and answer questions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can leave the group at any time.

Statistics and ad measurement

If you consent in the cookie window, we use Google Analytics 4 (visit statistics) and Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (measuring how our ads perform and showing ads to people who visited the site). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with the rules on cookies and similar technologies). You can withdraw consent at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. Details, including the list of cookies and how long they last, are in the cookie policy.

For the Meta Pixel we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for collecting data on the site and transmitting it to Meta. Meta is responsible for any further processing under its own privacy policy.

Site security and legal claims

The web server automatically records technical details of visits (IP address, date and time, page address, browser type) in server logs. We do this to keep the site running and secure. The data may also be used to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell data. We only share it with providers that help us run the site and the consultations:

  • Google Ireland Limited – Google Calendar, Google Meet and Google Apps Script: your booking is saved in the Google Calendar of the consultant you book with and, if you give your email, Google sends you an invitation. When free slots are displayed, your browser connects to Google's servers.
  • LH.pl – website hosting (server and server logs).
  • WhatsApp Ireland Limited – when we contact you via WhatsApp or you join the group.
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel) – only with your cookie consent. For advertising purposes Google may also process data as a separate controller.
  • Providers of tools we use to handle enquiries and email, if any – to the extent needed to handle bookings and correspondence.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires it.

4. Transfers outside the EEA and the UK

Google and Meta may also process data in the United States. Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. take part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension), for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision. Where it does not apply, the providers use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can request a copy of the safeguards by writing to cackowski.przemyslaw.pro@gmail.com.

5. How long we keep data

  • Booking data – until the consultation and for no longer than 12 months after it, so we can answer follow-up questions. If you ask for deletion or cancel the call earlier, we delete it sooner.
  • Correspondence – until the matter is closed, then until any claims become time-barred.
  • Data in analytics and advertising tools – until you withdraw consent and no longer than the cookie lifetimes in the cookie policy. Google Analytics 4 deletes data after the retention period set in the service, no longer than 14 months.
  • Server logs – for the period set by the hosting provider.
  • WhatsApp group data – until you leave the group or it is closed; messages are stored by WhatsApp under its own terms.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy of it,
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability for data processed under a contract or consent,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • withdraw consent at any time – under “Cookie settings” in the footer,
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. Our lead authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl). In the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise your rights, email cackowski.przemyslaw.pro@gmail.com. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

7. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you. If you accept marketing cookies, Google and Meta may use your activity to choose which ads they show you.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the law, our tools or the way the site works change. The current version is always at this address, with the date it applies from at the top.
